June 2021 – To Riri Group, excellence in details is where sustainability stems from. The international leader in the production of zips and buttons continues to have Menabò at its side, this time to tell the several milestones that have marked the company’s path towards production processes that are responsible toward the environment, the people and society.
The first steps of this large-scale project, which outlines a concrete plan for the enhancement of the sustainable performances, were the developing of the Sustainability Report 2020 and the introduction of 100% recycled polyester as production standard for zips. Menabò’s team provided its longstanding experience to the historic Swiss company supporting it in both activities.
The developing of the Sustainability Report started off with the creation of a dedicated graphic concept. In parallel, the production of specific contents, featuring both texts and infographics, allowed a precise and transparent view of the actions carried out by the company in 2020. The document was made available both in digital and paper format.
The choice to employ recycled polyester as production standard for zips, on the other hand, was supported and shared through a dedicated PR activity which focused on B2B European and international media in the fashion, accessories and textile sector. The news, communicated through a press release developed for the occasion and coupled with a one-to-one follow-up activity, has had a good global reach, having been included on platforms such as Fashion United, Sourcing Journal, Arsutoria and Hub Style.
