Veroni

The project was to design distinctive packaging of the products destined for the U.S. market, in order to transmit a particular mood, emphasizing the Italian values of craftsmanship that make Veroni cold cuts unique, appreciated and sought after overseas, while differentiating the various product lines.

EVERY PRODUCT: AN EXPRESSION OF ITALIAN TASTE.

Veroni’s product offering in the U.S.A. is mainly divided into three lines of sliced cold cuts, all produced in Italy and sold in modified atmosphere trays, in the self-service section of several large American grocery chains.

For the line of classic cold cuts, we created a suggestive visual theme: a sepia photograph of a typical landscape of the Emilia-Romagna hills, the as an intuitive reference to the authentic Italian character of the products and the company’s history, dedicated to the art of charcuterie since 1925. Different colored bands make it easy to identify the different product lines on the shelf.

Menabò - Veroni trays America

The latest product launched on the U.S. market is Italian prosciutto, which thanks to the collaboration with the Prosus cooperative, can guarantee complete traceability all the way to the farm. For this reason, a very clean graphic design was used to demonstrate transparency and to highlight the quality selling points of the product and the traceable supply chain.
